Thx Thx Thx is a website begun by Leah Dieterich, a creative director and writer in LA. It’s based on the premise of writing thank you notes, and not just to people who had you over for dinner or gave you a birthday present. This is the delightfully quirky catch.
Her ‘About’ page describes it like this:

I just love it. There is such a complete lack of cynicism and sarcasm that it’s almost shocking. It certainly made me think. You know those mind-blowingly successful books ‘Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff”?
This takes it that little bit further. This is about not only not sweating the small stuff but sometimes celebrating it and finding a way to turn it around to be something you’re grateful for. HIGHLIGHTER PENS?
But she’s so right. That’s exactly what highlighter pens do.
So I thought it might be a lovely way to kick off today by writing my own thank you note and I encourage you to do the same. Come back as many times as you like and leave some more. I plan to.

* Louise was my right hand woman throughout my editing years. She was the Art Director of Cosmo for almost every issue I edited then Creative Director of Cosmo, Cleo and Dolly when I was Ed-In-Chief. We had an extraordinary working relationship. One of those you dream about and one of a small handful I’ve ever found. She’s not a words person and I don’t speak design but she was able to just GET me and translate what I wanted into the most beautiful layouts and designs.
