This is actually better than a lot of US commercials. My husband and I rarely watched TV when we were over there (there is little to nothing on free-to-air), but when we did, the ads would be trying so hard to be clever, trying to make little in-jokes and be memorable, that most of the time, we would turn to each other with a 'WTF was that?' expression. I remarked one day that I would be happy to be home simply to see commercials which made sense!
