Stop what you’re doing and get ready to have your heart seriously warmed – Channel Nine journalists Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic are officially married.
The duo said ‘I do’ in front of a close group of family and friends in the hills of Kangaroo Valley 10 months on from announcing their engagement.
30-year-old Jeffreys wore a custom-made bridal gown by Sydney designer Rebecca Vallance – a longtime favourite of the presenter – while 36-year-old Stefanovic and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos.
The couple were joined by the groom’s famous brother, Karl Stefanovic, as well as a number of other members from the Today team, including Richard Wilkins and Lisa Wilkinson, and actress Holly Valance.
It appears Jeffreys wasn’t the only one donning her favourite Australian designer, with all four of her bridesmaids dressed by Vallance in floor-length, off-the-shoulder, blush gowns. The four bridesmaids included her sister Claire Going, sister-in-law Jenna Stefanovic, SBS editor Meggie Palmer and Channel Nine journalist Alison Ariotti.
Photos from inside the reception have also begun to emerge, with the couple seen cutting a classic and beautifully simple four-tiered wedding cake.
Despite weeks of rumours, Karl’s rumoured new girlfriend, Jasmine Yarbrough, did not attend the celebration.
Jeffreys and Stefanovic became engaged during a European holiday in 2016 when Pete went down on one knee while visiting a vineyard in the Bordeaux region.
“It was beautiful,” Jeffreys said of the proposal last year.
The couple began dating almost two-and-a-half years ago, after working together as the 2014 summer hosts of the Today show.

That shape, design and the layers are doing her gorgeous figure no favours at all. It isn't fitted to her bust, and doesn't flatter her waist or her hips. It looks like a huge triangle, and she looks thick around the middle, like she's in her first trimester and wanted something forgiving of her abdomen area. If she's pregnant then congratulations to them.
Never a good idea to speculate if a woman is pregnant! If she's not, you've just said she looks thick around the middle and is wearing an unattractive dress.
