Indeed, weather extremes have been ever the extreme this December – ranging from hail falling to hazardous air.

And the severity is only set to continue, as ferocious fires continue to blaze in NSW and Western Australia. A heatwave is also forecast to deliver extreme temperatures to South Australia, NSW and Victoria this week.

But, what about China doing nothing for climate change?

Yes, the other 180 countries in this world should definitely do nothing because China isn’t. How about we lead by example for once?

Per capita. for CO2 emissions. Australia is second in the world at 16.5, the USA beats us for number 1 spot at 17.5, while China is way down the list at 7.5 per person and India even further down at 1.5. Perhaps this is why Australia is 57 out 57 countries in battling pollution.

SS, if you're taking this post on face value, I think you should have a quick dip into my post history.

Ah Gu3st you've learnt something from Les! ;). I tried in vain to respond to your comment judging me on another thread, it's adding to my suspicions you're a Mamamia writer as many of your comments are in their writing style and vein. I also realise now that I was wasting my 'breath' as you obviously feel like an authority on this subject and expect everyone is following your comments all over the place.

You accused me of not thinking critically, interesting in that I have looked into the way they calculate Carbon emissions and, well by they time they have an end figure, they're about as reliable as an ATAR is in determining the true value of an 18 year old. There just happens to be other ways to think than what the sensationalist mainstream media feeds you. In these hot days ahead, try not to drink too much of the Kool Aid. (Oops probably just left myself open for another disparaging barb from your keyboard).
