Sick of politicians in your newsfeed? We can vastly improve your internet in minutes.

Are you sick of reading the news, because you don’t like seeing all those serious faces of politicians? Or perhaps you’re not a fan of Prime Minister Tony Abbott? Or maybe you’d just prefer if there were more cute animal photos with your daily dose of news?

Then soon you’re going to be happier than a kitten scratching up some brand new furniture.

A new Chrome extension called Stop Tony Meow, once installed, will replace all photos of Tony Abbott you see on the internet with images of kittens. Like this:

Created by a group of enterprising individuals – Ben Taylor, Dan Nolan and Matt Kelsh – Stop Tony Meow is quite possibly the most genius thing we have ever seen. Allow us to present our evidence: A series of articles published on Mamamia — now, vastly improved for the politically uninterested or left-wing aligned reader.

All you need to do is head to Stop Tony Meow to install the extension for Chrome. A Safari version is apparently in the works.

Do you feel like you’ve been waiting all your life for Stop Tony Meow to replace pictures of Tony Abbott with kittens?

If all the half-smart and totally dumb people who support this kind of abuse of the PRIVELAGE to be 'free' to use the internet were to watch and learn from my "Our Civilisation" series on YouTube (Ozunited-videos) they would become sufficiently informed to understand that this kind of abuse of our freedoms invariably WILL lead to a LOSS of that freedom. It is invariably younger people - i.e. less experienced and less knowledgeable - who think this kind of thing is 'fun' or 'clever', etc. Lacking knowledge and experience, they just don't know that here we have yet another example of how stepping onto the slippery slope of stupidity will open the floodgates of similar idiocies. And then (a) the authoritities will step in with legislation to stop it (and of course curtail or freedom) and (b) the idiots who applaud this abuse of technology will start screaming in protest at their self-caused clamp-down. Those (ignorants) who would argue this post need to FIRST watch the 'Our Civilisation' series before self-evidencing that they are ignoranuses.

Interestingly, that kittens-in-a-row photo is the one that Obama recently sent to his followers (including me). They must have assumed it would work. I think they are quite ugly kitties!
