Baby news for this beautiful songstress.

It seems that the bumps don’t lie.

Colombian-born singer Shakira has welcomed baby number two with her partner, Gerard Piqué in Barcelona.

The 37-year-old took to her website to tell fans that she and hubbie had welcomed the arrival of another boy, bringing their family to an even four.

And, much like big brother Milan, the newest member of the Shakira-clan has a unique and trendy name.

“The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means ‘defender of mankind’ and ‘warrior,'” she wrote on her website.

She added that, after Sasha’s arrival via C-section on Thursday in Spain, both bub and mum are doing fine.

The star first announced that she was expecting her second baby with her soccer player partner back in August. And, despite being quite open about her pregnancy with now-19-month-old Milan, the new mum kept a relatively low profile this time around.

In an interview with Latina magazine, she did share that she would “love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard,” joking that she’d like her own football team.

And why not? When, as Shakira told Hello! magazine, he is such a hands-on dad with Milan.

“He is very involved with his son,” she said. “He is always there for him, and that’s a big advantage for me as I cannot imagine it any other way.”

But the songstress has also revealed that being a mum to Milan has not been all sparkles.

“It takes a lot of energy from you but I love it. I’m really enjoying every bit of it. It’s not as idyllic as everybody tells you but not as horrible as everybody tells you. It comes with a full package” she told People.

And, while marriage isn’t on the cards anytime soon, the former coach of The Voice says that she has plenty to keep her occupied.

“When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world,” she shared. “You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel.”

We wish Shakira, Gerard, Milan and baby Sasha all the best.
