The best rejection letter you'll ever read.

Hillary Clinton is so gosh darned cool these days she can even reject celebrities and make it funny.

When Jason Segel (Hollywood funnyman who starred in The Muppets) asked her on the popular comedy show How I Met Your Mother in which he stars she said no. But she wrote him a letter. Here’s what it said:

Dear Mr. Segel,

I was delighted to read about your interest in sharing the big screen with me. As you can imagine, I am a little occupied at the moment, but perhaps someday I can help you forget Sarah Marshall…again. My only condition is that there be muppets involved, and that is non-negotiable. In the meantime, you have my best wishes for continued success in your career.

With best regards, I am sincerely yours,

Hillary Rodham Clinton

So, if they ever do work together you just know there will be a Muppet clause.

Of course, being rejected isn’t always so humourous (nor administered by one of the highest ranking politicians in the United States). We’ve all been there. Rebuffed or ignored by someone we love or like, had our desires trampled on, tried to watch a video online only to be told it’s ‘not available in your region’.

What are the worst (and maybe even best) rejections you’ve ever received. In work, love or life.

Can I just selfishly share the lovely post I put on Not-so-funny guy's' wall last week after he had a spectacular mantrum and showed extreme douchebaggery?

I dont hate you. But if you were on fire, and I had water...

I'd drink it.

One of the best pieces of advice I received as a child was...'people are not rejecting you... they are rejecting what you are offering them at that exact moment'....whether it be a flyer at the shops, a coffee, your opinion, a kiss.....your life.....I guess it really depends on how you receive the rejection....this piece of advice helps me on a daily basis
