Pauline Hanson didn't attend the Women's March, just in case you were wondering.

Millions of people across the world marched this weekend to protest the inauguration of  US President Donald Trump.

More than 10,000 attended the Women’s March in Sydney and thousands more carried their placards in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra on Saturday.

One Aussie woman who did not turn out with a sassy sign in hand was One Nation leader, Pauline Hanson.

Although they weren’t scrawled on a piece of cardboard, Hanson – a vocal Trump supporter – did have some words for her sisters on the streets.

She posed the following, rather bizarre, question on Twitter this morning:

“I want you to ask yourself- Where is the #WomensMarch to protest the suffering of women in countries under the rule of Islamic Extremists?”

The Queensland senator also shared a video of protesters in Brisbane’s King George Square on her Facebook page on Sunday morning calling them “clowns”.

“Don’t these clowns have anything else better to do with their time other than to hold sad, anti-democracy protests?” she wrote.

“Why on earth would anyone want to walk around in this heat chanting about One Nation and the new President of the United States of America, Donald Trump?”

In the video, originally posted by The Courier Mail, the group can be heard shouting: “Donald Trump go to hell. Send One Nation there as well.”

Hanson also scolded the protesters in Washington, whom she accused of “vandalising businesses and committing assaults”.

The new President also tweeted his thoughts on the the rallies, suggesting protesters should have voted in the November election.

An hour-and-a-half later he added that peaceful protests are one of the “hallmarks of democracy”.

Last week, Hanson bragged about receiving an invite to Trump’s inauguration before it turned out one of her party members had requested them.

In the end she didn’t attend, which is a pity because he could’ve used some seat-fillers.

She sadly missed the point. It's not about marching against Donald Trumo it's about his beliefs regarding woman and their fear was founded after he just signed an order taking away funding from organisations supporting Abortions. He will take woman's rights back wards and if he does thatvwhat else will he do and what other country's will follow? It's funny she is constantly going on about how the people voted for her well the people are marching here for a voice and she mocks them instead of doing her job and hearing them.

Because, it isn't like the left are mocking those that voted for trump or anything.

So Hanson was among the other millions of woman that didn't march?
She raised a valid point though. If you feel the need to protest about the POTUS why haven't you done the same about worse conditions for women in our other allied countries?
I understand it's not a one or the other type objection but surely of the hundreds of thousands some could of protested conditions that are a lot worse than those in America?
Maybe because the victims in other countries aren't white...

You get the we can't protest effectively about every other country but we can make a difference in the US. Ok, go ahead, but it's a bit like them all standing around eating a cheeseburger to end hunger in Africa.

At the moment there is a group of primary producers in Central Queensland who are protesting a proposal by the federal government to undertake compulsory acquisitions in order to expand the defence training area for the Singaporean Army. Pauline Hanson herself has attended their community meetings and promised to stand on the side of the landholders. Should she decline to protest? After all, there is a much larger number of people being displaced from their homes in Syria with no offer of compensation.

The treatment of women in some nations is appalling. However it doesn't mean women in the US should wave goodbye to their own hard earned gains without a fight.

Trumps policies do effect women in other countries though. America remains an extremely powerful country and his policies have a knock on effect around the globe. Just today we have seen he has signed away funding for any international aid organization that promotes or performs abortions. Don't you think that will impact non- white girls and women who may have been sexually abused or raped in war torn countries or places where women already have no voice?
