According to multiple reports, 20-year-old actress and model Paris Jackson stormed out of the Dior Cruise 2019 show moments after it started on Friday night in Paris, France.
The fashion show was held at the Domaine de Chantilly – a semi-open air venue built in the 18th century, that sits within Musée Vivant du Cheval à Chantilly, and featured horses walking the runway alongside models.
A heavy rainstorm, however, delayed the show’s start by almost two hours, and meant the models and horses walked in the rain. Just as the first model entered the catwalk, onlookers say, Jackson “huffed out”.
WWD wrote in their review that Jackson quite conspicuously left the venue, after “having earlier asked two assistants to help her out of her high-heeled sandals”.
“Whether the issue was animal welfare, or simply an extreme aversion to rain, was not clear,” they wrote.
On Monday, a source reportedly told Page Six “Jackson left the show because she disapproved of the performing animals,” with the New York Times further observing she “stalked out in a rage,” after having “pranced in puddles barefoot for the photographers before the show”.
When contacted by the New York Post, Paris Jackson’s representatives chose not to comment.
Bizarrely, Jackson shared a photo to Instagram on Monday of her looking up at the sky after leaving the show. “Left early n did this,” she captioned the image, offering no further explanation for why she left.
Jackson has always been very open about her affinity with animals, spending a lot of time with her mother’s horses. In 2017, she rescued a pit-bull-mix puppy named Koa, and also owns a rescue Labrador named Kenya, who was gifted to her by her late father. She’s previously described Kenya as “the love of my life”.
In a 10-minute Instagram Live video in June last year, Jackson said, “I’m fighting for human rights, I’m fighting for animal rights, I’m fighting for the environment. Basically any liberalist movement that will create positive impact on this planet, I’m trying to get involved in.”
She did, however, attend Australia’s Melbourne Cup last year, despite the event facing relentless claims of animal cruelty.

She's in Gringo, which came out in March in the US. There was another film she was supposed to do before that but that ended up in development hell. It looks like she also has a recurring role in a TV show called Star.

The girl would do a favour to herself if she spent some time getting an education and a job. She doesn't need the money but she sure as hell needs a purpose.
