"I am going to be a dad in a few months and I'm terrified."

While all the attention is on the expectant mum, we forget that there is someone else who’s just as nervous.

From the moment the baby is conceived, all the attention is turned to mum.

How is she feeling?

Is she nervous?

Is she okay?

And fair enough.

But what we also need to remember is that there is another person. Who is just as nervous about becoming a parent for the first time.

Dad.

One Reddit User turned to the internet with his concern:

“I am going to be a dad in a few months and I’m terrified. Any other guys experience this? Don’t get me wrong, I want this baby, I can’t wait to meet him. I am just so anxious and I can barely function. I can’t enjoy the pregnancy because of the anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. I can’t really say I’m afraid of anything in particular, just general anxiety from it and I know it’s irrational. I just know it’s a big deal. Any other dads experience this and do you have any advice?”

Cue Dads from everywhere coming forward with some heartfelt advice. And in typical Dad behaviour a few funny jokes too.CLICK THROUGH the gallery to see the advice:
