Mid-week meals that take less than 30 minutes to make.

Thanks to our brand partner, You’re Better on Beef

It sounds too good to be true, right?

Wrong.

We recently invited 50 guests to find out just how simple it is to combat the midweek dinner struggle at the Mamamia Beef Up Your Week Lunch and Learn thanks to You’re Better on Beef.

At the event hosted by Lisa Wilkinson, Jac & Shaz, 2015 My Kitchen Rules grand finalists, whipped up an entrée of grilled beef rump steak, zucchini, sweet potato and rocket salad followed by minced beef larb with roasted rice for the main.

Is your mouth watering too?

Good – because both of these meals are quick, easy, affordable AND healthy. #Winning.

In fact, according to panelist Jacqueline Alwill, nutritionist and founder of Brown Paper Bag blog, beef is packed full of protein, zinc and iron, which is essential for good health. If that doesn’t inspire you to get cooking, nothing will.

For your chance to score great freebies and attend events like this in future, don’t forget to sign up to Mamamia’s Opinionators here.

Thank you for having me at the lunch! It was wonderful.
I particularly liked the beef larb, becase it was something a little different.
I had never heard of roasted rice before and it was such a different texture and made mince a little more exciting. I haven't yet but will defintely try making it myself at home!

oh I love this! It's great to hear about the nutritional value of beef and how it can be incorporated into veggie heavy dishes like san choy bau.
