Merrick and Jules have something to say, and it’s the f-word.
The radio personalities are quickly losing their radio dream team. Actually, they already have.
Or, as Merrick says so eloquently in this video, “everyone has fucked off”.
Under a year ago, 2DayFM’s brand new breakfast team was Merrick Watts, Jules Lund, Sophie Monk and Mel B.
And now… it’s half that. The boy half.
Last year, a video hit the internet, advertising the new breakfast team dancing in the street.
Merrick and Jules have just made a new version, in which they get left awkwardly dancing alone.
Which pretty much sums up the situation.
They’ve got a solution though.
“Keep dancing. We don’t want to look like idiots.”
Mel B quietly bowed out from the show a few months ago. Sophie Monk announced on the weekend that she would be moving on from the show next year.
2DayFM had hopes that the four would keep the station at the top of the ratings, after Kyle and Jackie O awkwardly switched to rival station Kiis FM.
It’s possible that popular duo Dan and Maz will eventually fill the time slot, or even our ol’ favourites Hamish and Andy.
Either way, just keep dancing, guys. Just keep dancing.

They are the much better option actually.
Agreed! I always thought that they did the arvo stuff because their content was suited to teenagers. Voices (both of them) like nails on a chalkboard.
