Bloomin' beautiful: Meghan Markle rocked Aussie brands during her first days in a new job.

It’s one of her first days in a new job and soon-to-be-royal Meghan Markle is wearing Australian brands to work.

Attending a reception today with delegates from the Commonwealth Youth Forum (of which she and Prince Harry are now a part), she wore a jacket and carried a bag – both designed by Australian brands.

The 36-year-old former actress was proudly carrying an Oroton bag – the Avalon Zip Top Crossbody clutch valued at $295, which is now sold out.

And, according to News Corp, the jacket slung over her shoulders is one designed by Camilla and Marc. From our research (because, investigative journalism) it appears the Marguerite Blazer valued at $699 is still in stock.

The jacket and bag were worn over a dress by New York-based brand Altuzarra (a little more expensive at $2,600).

On Monday, it was announced Prince Harry is now a Commonwealth youth ambassador and Meghan will work with him to encourage young people to use the network of mostly former British colonies.

"I know that serving as ambassador to young people I’m going have to try to keep up with you all … my job will be to listen to you, my duty will be to ensure that your ideas, concerns, thoughts and hopes are heard," Harry told the opening of a Commonwealth forum discussing youth issues on Monday.

LISTEN: In case you missed it, Meghan Markle has brought slut strands back. Post continues after audio.

"I’m also incredibly grateful that the woman that I am about to marry, Meghan, will be joining me in this work, in which she too is hugely excited to take part in."

The new appointments come ahead of their wedding next month. The pair will be married on May 19 at Windsor Castle.

This article is a disgrace. You view a prominent woman as a clotheshorse first, human second.

Why aren't you focused on who Harry is wearing? Not doing it to the men?
Why aren't you focused on what Meghan was doing, what she said?

This paragraph should be at the top, with the fashion details at the end as a side note...

I think the intention of the article was to point out Meghan was wearing Australian labels, probably a nod to a Commonwealth country's (Australia) fashion industry. As for Harry's outfit and job, he is starting to resemble a used car salesman spruiking a cause (the Commonwealth) nobody really cares about anymore.
