What have been the best and worst moments of your week?

It’s been the kind of week where it’s Sunday night and you’re just getting ready to go back to work and – OH LOOK SORRY IT’S FRIDAY ALREADY, WHO NEEDS SLEEP OR SPARE TIME ANYWAY.

But that’s okay, because it’s the end of the week and that means it’s time for Best & Worst. If you’ve never been here before, here’s how you play the game.

Best and worst is pretty much therapy, only much less expensive and much more convenient. Come and tell us your problems and someone is sure to come with solutions. And if they don’t… you will at least get a virtual hug (Or a thumbs up!), which is nice.

I’ll kick off. I’m nice like that.

Best: I went on a girls’ trip to Cairns last weekend and it was obscenely perfect. I actually felt like a bit of a knobcloud when Instagramming pictures of perfect swimming pools, endless palm trees and paddle-boarding – but then I got over it because, well, haters gonna hate. It was only a five day trip, but I ate enough Frosty Fruits to last a lifetime. What more could you want?

Worst: The only unfortunate moment of the trip was when I managed to lock us all out of my boyfriend’s apartment, where we were all staying while he is off doing work-related things. My name obviously isn’t on the lease, and so the Key Masters were obviously not very willing to let me back in. Even after I gave his name, mobile number, date of birth, roommate’s name, emergency contact details and blood type (not really, but almost).

Me: “But I know everything about him!”

Key Masters (looking at me apprehensively): “So do all the crazy stalker ex-girlfriends who want to break into people’s apartments.”

Me: “I promise you I am not crazy. He likes me very much.”

Key Masters: “That’s what they all say. Can we ring him to check?”

Me: “He’s out of reception for the next few days, because of work. So is his roommate. Who works with him.”

Key Masters: “So he just HAPPENS to be out of reception, WITH his roommate, at the very same time you are trying to get keys to his apartment. That’s… interesting.”

That’s when I started envisioning my future arrest and maybe even jail time.

The Key Masters eventually managed to contact his mother, who verified that I had not recently escaped from a mental institution, and reluctantly allow me back into the apartment, where – surprise surprise – the key was sitting on the kitchen counter. I win ALL the life awards.

The worst of the week (so far): To be told that my Sydney blog (Women Love Tech) is not big enough to interest advertisers :(

The best: the lovely man in my arms asking me: is it ok to call you baby?

Best: I started a new job this week in the hopes that although it will start out as casual bar work I may be able to work my way up the ranks quickly so that I can give up my current job that I HATE! But in saying that I also excelled in sales at the job that I hate and had a pretty awesome week. Looking forward to going into work tomorrow to find out if I hit the 500% of my sales target :D I also had a super awesome night last night going out with my close friends to the Beerfest held in my local town, complete with a real German brass band flown over from Germany.

Worst: No real worst this week at all. Just a few minor FWP like my allergies to my rabbit worsening and the severe hangover this morning from aforementioned Beerfest.

OMM: How this week at work will go sales wise. And if this rain will ever stop, it's getting a little too much!
