The Spill: Saturday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. A trip to Italy and two missing family members: Everything we know about Kylie Jenner’s birthday week.

Prepare yourselves to feel poor.

Saturday is Kylie Jenner’s birthday and she is celebrating in… affluence. A week of celebratory activities, thoroughly documented on Instagram, has seen her flaunt her lavish lifestyle as though she is a billionaire. Oh… wait.

On Monday her house was covered in roses by boyfriend Travis Scott.

Sure, it looks divine for the ‘gram, but it also a) seems HIGHLY impractical and b) doesn’t look like it would be fun to clean up.

It is rumoured to have cost $30,000 which is frankly absurd.

She then went on a trip to Positano with her family, minus Caitlyn and Kendall Jenner, and was seen browsing the local shops and sightseeing on luxurious yachts, rumoured to cost upwards of $1.2 million a week. Cool.

Those who were with Kylie to share her 22nd birthday, included her boyfriend Travis Scott, daughter Stormi Webster, Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, Scott Disick and his girlfriend Sofia Richie, and best-friend Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou.

With it yet to be her actual birthday in America, we can’t even imagine how Kylie will celebrate the special day.

2. Kid Rock’s bizarre sexist rant about Taylor Swift.

Singer Kid Rock has launched a scathing attack on Taylor Swift after her Vogue cover interview, in which she spoke about why she has recently been more vocal about her political values and beliefs.

"Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl," the 48-year-old man tweeted.

And now we're here.

Despite the lack of dramatic Instagram declaration, it would appear that Keira and Jarrod are no longer together. They haven't appeared in each other's Instagram feeds since late April of this year, and they're currently both on overseas trips. According to their Instagrams, Jarrod is in Bali with friends, while Keira is in Ibiza, Spain.

They've also stopped following each other on Instagram, which is the influencer relationship's final nail in the coffin.

We rest our case.

4. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have paid tribute to Princess Diana on their Instagram.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have shared one of Princess Diana's most well-known quotes, the first in an Instagram series featuring inspiring words of wisdom from public figures, and ordinary members of the public.

"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you,” it reads.

According to Express, the exact origins of when Diana said the quote are unknown, however the words have been famously attributed to the late princess.

As stated in the caption, Princess Diana's quote will feature in a series of other literary tidbits, which will include those from teachers, students and young leaders.

"Words have the power to inspire, which is why we’re happy to share some of our favourite quotes," read the caption.

This is the first time Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have paid tribute to the royal in such an overt manner. Celebrating their first Mother's Day, since the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the couple made a subtle reference to Diana who passed away in 1997.

"Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered," they wrote in the caption.

"We honour and celebrate each and every one of you."

As noted by People magazine, the photo of Meghan (presumably) cradling Archie's baby feet was taken in-front of a background of forget-me-nots, which were Princess Diana's favourite flowers.

5. Emily developed feelings for Ben while filming The Bachelor. But he wasn't a contestant.

Emily See-Winder and Ben Hanson are one of the most successful couples to come from the Bachelor Australia franchise.

Making it to the final nine contestants, Emily was on the first season of The Bachelor with Tim Robards in 2013, before she was sent home without a rose. Speaking to Mamamia, she says it was a turn of events which left her feeling “certainly relieved”.

That was because someone else had caught her eye: the cameraman, Ben Hanson, and she would later discover that the feelings were mutual.

You can read all about their unconventional romance in our earlier post here.
