Princess Eugenie’s wedding is the next big occasion on the British royal family’s calendar on October 12. But an equally momentous event on the other side of the Duchess of Cambridge’s family may cause her to miss her cousin-in-law’s big day.
You see, Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, who announced her pregnancy earlier this year, is reportedly due to give birth in October.
And while we don’t know Pippa’s exact due date, if the birth of her and husband James Matthews’ first child does fall on October 12, Kate would choose to be by her sister’s side, The Express reported.

Katie probably just wants to catch up on Netflix. #TheCrown #TheRoyals #BingeBabyBinge
They all live relatively close to each other, surely she could go see her sister after the wedding? And who knows how long her labour will be given it’s her first- it could be over 24 hours. I doubt even Kate will sit there for that long! As for prince Philip, he’s not looking well and has been sick for a long time but I hope he does go even just for the ceremony for Eugenie regardless of how he feels about fergie- after all they co-existed at harry’s Wedding without issue so it shouldn’t be one now.
