"This poor woman." Jameela Jamil's reaction to Khloe Kardashian's latest Instagram post.

Jameela Jamil’s ongoing condemnation of anti-body positivity on mainstream social media has been giving us life for many months now.

“I am not going to stop coming after all the people, men and women, who perpetuate this gross culture of forcing women to remain small and doll-like in order to be accepted by society,” she tweeted late last year.

The actress recently vowed to never stop calling out those who perpetuate this “gross” culture.

She’s already targeted the likes of Kim Kardashian, Iggy Azalea and Cardi B for plugging detox teas, and today, she shifted her gaze to Khloe Kardashian, who posted a problematic meme about the “two things girls want” today.

See for yourself:

The Good Place actress reposted Khloe's story to her 24.3K Twitter followers to make a poignant statement.

"This makes me sad," she began.

"I hope my daughter grows up wanting more than this. I want more than this. Sending love to this poor woman. This industry did this to her. The media did it to her. They fat shamed her into a prison of self critique."

The star concluded by addressing the general public, urging us to "want more".

Her tweet has gained an avalanche of support by way of comments and retweets, with many agreeing Khloe's message was vastly tone-deaf.

Jameela has become a staunch advocate for healthy body image, having launched the inspiring Instagram account “I Weigh” as a "movement for women to feel valuable".

The page and her Twitter feed are a treasure-trove of positive, uplifting messages aimed at changing how we - and society - views our bodies.

And with that, she remains one of our favourite women in the world right now.

I am sorry but have any of you seen Jameela lately? She is a typical celebrity thin woman. It is not like Jameela is "keeping it real" . You know she is dieting and all the rest. I believe in body positivity also but coming from Jameela this seems like hypocricy.

How is it hypocritical. Yes, she may be dieting, she may be working out, but the point if her tweet is to tell people to want MORE than just that. She's not saying "don't lose weight' or "don't wish to be thinner", she's saying "wish for more than weight loss".

As per the twitter response in this post, all these women are valued for are their looks - and so they are obsessed.
I don't even follow them but remember Kim K disappearing form all news for a few months after the birth of her first child. I thought perhaps becoming a mother might have actually made her think about her values and change her. But no - she just didn't want the world to see her being 'fat'. She came back when her body was back and flaunted it even more than ever.
If that's how she wants to live her life, fine, but the sad thing is so many people look up to her and that's the problem.
