Brilliant article Mia. Having worked in a secondary school parents were more of a problem than the students. Eg. Student lights fire to a gas heater in class room. Parent blames teacher for not checking classroom door was securely locked. Student not responsible. Student exonerated. Where was the lesson learnt?
Great article but any Outlouder would know that Mia’s kids seem to have turned out alright so she either wasn’t a helicopter parent like she says or it’s not that bad.
