Awards season for this year has officially kicked off with the Golden Globes 2019 red carpet and a whole lot of flashy frocks.
The prestigious awards show acknowledge the best of 2018’s film and television offerings with movies A Star is Born and The Favourite poised to win big.
But back to the fashion.
While the 2018 Golden Globe red carpet paid tribute to the #TimesUp movement by encouraging attendees to dress in black, the colour ban has been lifted this year. However, the politics and social critique around the #MeToo movement will undoubtedly remain.
