In a conversation with reporters in New York, Orlando Bloom has said that ‘of course’ he and Kerr are still on good terms.
“We’re not friends, we’re family,” the actor told a reporter.
When pressed for a reason for the break-up, Bloom mused that life doesn’t always “work out the way you want it to” and said that “life’s a mystery.”
His amicable words match the sentiment of Kerr and Bloom’s official statement released last week, which said that: “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”
Last Friday E! Online reported exclusively that Kerr, 30, had split up from her movie star husband Orlando Bloom, 36.
The couple had been together for six years – and married for three years – and have a son, Flynn, 2.
A representative for Orlando Bloom is said to have confirmed the break up, saying: “In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months,” the rep said in a statement. “After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.”

Julianne Hough dons blackface for Halloween, really didn’t think it through.
The singer and actress best known as a dancer in the Dancing with the Stars franchise dressed as Crazy Eyes, a character from “Orange is the New Black” for a Halloween party over the weekend.
Hough, 25, wore an orange jumpsuit and Crazy Eyes’ signature hair knots. The actress attended the Casamigos Tequila Halloween party in Hollywood with friends, who joined her in dressing as the cast of the hit Netflix series. No one in the group, however, seemed to have pointed out Hough getup is offensive.
Hough has since tweeted her apology:
Her message in full: “I am a huge fan of the show Orange is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize.”

Christina Ricci tied the knot with fiance James Heerdegen over the weekend Us Weekly confirms.
According to the celebrity website: “The newlyweds were feted by close family and friends, with the intimate nuptials beginning at 7 p.m. at the Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall.
The blushing new bride looked stunning in a Givenchy Haute Couture high neck dress with white beaded long sleeves and a long train. Ricci also wore her brunette locks swept back to the side in a bun with a veil.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and dancing. There was even a candy table with bags filled with special treats for those with a sweet tooth.”
Marcia Wallace, who voiced the character of Edna Krabappel in The Simpsons, has died aged 70.
The American actress died in Los Angeles of complications from pneumonia.
Wallace was also known for her role as receptionist Carol Kester on the 1970s sitcom The Bob Newhart Show, and voiced elementary school teacher Edna Krabappel on the animated series The Simpsons appearing in almost 200 episdoes, and won an Emmy for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance in 1992.
The Simpsons cast members took to Twitter to express their condolences.
“Cheers to the hilarious, kind, fab Marcia Wallace, who has taken her leave of us,” Yeardley Smith said, who is the voice of Lisa Simpson. “Heaven is now a much funnier place b/c of you.”
“So sad to learn–through Twitter, first–of the passing of the wonderful Marcia Wallace. Sorely missed already,” Harry Shearer tweeted,
Earlier this month, Simpson producers announced that the show’s 25th season would lose one of its major characters in an on-screen death. A statement confirms that the character “was not Marcia’s Edna Krabappel. Marcia’s passing is unrelated and again, a terrible loss for all who had the pleasure of knowing her.”

How could you accuse her of being culturally insensitive? Beyonce was obviously enjoying the Haka, she was revelling in it. How can you expect an American pop star to know that women don't 'do' the Haka?
How is Julianne Hough being offensive? I thought the concept of blackface was that the people "wearing" it were doing so to mock and make fun of black people. What Jualianne seems to be doing is dressing up as a favourite character from a TV show - pretty much cosplaying. I know that blackface has a very strong history in the US but this is out of control. What Hough did was try and look as close to the character as possible, she in no way wore blackface to offend black people.
Crucify me for this opinion if you want but I seriously don't understand why people are so upset about this when Hough didn't actually act derogatory or do anything other than put on a costume and used brown paint on her skin to emulate the character closely.
But it is still offensive to people and therefore it shouldn't be done. If people were no longer discriminated against due to being black, then perhaps some of the sting of people donning blackface would be gone. But that is not the case. Blackface as a derogatory, dehumanising exercise, existed within living memory. It is offensive to MANY people no matter what the intent behind it, and therefore people should just not do it.
