Completely off topic here, but Bretts Gal, if you want to buy a house, I suggest you go & talk to the financial advisor at your bank or credit union. It shouldn't cost you anything if you are a customer.

But I'll give you a tip here, you won't be able to use your boats & cars as a deposit on a house, you will need money in the bank & a proven savings record. Any reputable lending institution will consider boats & cars as liabilitys, not assets.

The average child that is born will eat three times a day, eat meat two times a day and poo at least once everyday for an average of 83 years, if female or 79 years, if male. They will also consume at least 10 litres of water every day and produce one daily bagful of waste (not including poo). When they reach 18 they will consume an average of ten litres of petrol per day and then, of course there are the CO2 emissions on top of that. Population is the most pressing issue for humans without a doubt.
