A mother's worst nightmare:"The flight attendant ripped the breast pump from my hands."

Australian actress Emilie de Ravin, who has starred in shows Once Upon A Time and Roswell, has detailed how she was assaulted by a female flight attendant while boarding an American Airlines flight in Los Angeles.

Revealing the incident on Twitter, Emilie says she was “grabbed forcefully” by the woman when she attempted to carry a breast pump on board.

“My carry on bag ripped out of my hand…Luckily our pilot was very kind and helpful & apologetic on woman’s behalf & assisted in getting her name & instructions on who to contact to report her,” she wrote.

“However there is NO excuse 4 physical force being used on someone trying to take her breast pump carry on. NOT OK (sic).”

Emilie and her fiancé, Eric Bilitch, welcomed daughter Vera Audrey earlier this year.

The actress has asked the airline company to dismiss the woman after the incident, with American Airlines sharing they are equally as disturbed by the claims.

Im thinking there's more to this story. As in why the FA tried to take her breast pump. And its also a tad fishy as to why she wants the FA dismissed. Thats really not her call.

I did read elsewhere that the FA wanted her to check the pump, as she would have had too much carry on. But the pump is considered a medical device, so Emilie was permitted to have it as well as her other carry on luggage.

Hmmm wouldn't be surprised if there was another side to this story?
