For those of us who suffer from eczema, there is a never-ending need to find a cream that actually works. While one cream might soothe the condition for a quick second, others can make the rash worse.
Whether it’s a mild spot on the back of your forearms or uncontrollable eczema body-wide, there never seems to be a cream that completely clears the rash up.
Until now.
Mother to a four-year-old son with eczema, Sarah Rudd, claims she has found the ultimate cure to the condition.
The $30 lotion from Lush, named “Dream Cream”, is said to have left her son eczema-free.
On the 22nd of March, the young mum posted photos of her son’s eczema to Facebook, asking for advice for her son’s painful eczema.
Less than a month later, Rudd posted a photo of her son to Facebook with clear skin.
“Most of you saw [my son] was a hot mess last month with the eczema he’d had since birth…. nothing we were prescribed worked, even hydrocortisone cream didn’t touch it,” she wrote in the Facebook post.
“Tried dairy free formula, Dermol, Nizarol, Aveeno, Oilatum…. nothing made a difference. He didn’t sleep for 4 months because he scratched non stop all night.
“After a shout out we were recommended Dream Cream by Lush and gave it a go; it’s transformed his skin and he’s now completely and utterly eczema free. For anyone else having a hard time, it’s done the job for us,” she continued.
The photos show a drastic improvement in her son’s skin.
The post has since been shared over 48,000 times, with people commenting how grateful they are that Rudd shared the cream.
“Thank you for this post my little girl suffers really bad and scratched her legs I’ve been using sudo cream and got some creams and bath stuff from health visitor and it’s just not working , will give this a go,” wrote one user.
“I’m having trouble with mine!!! So trying this thanks for sharing,” wrote another.

If your baby has eczema like mine, don’t waste your time trying a bunch of stuff like I did. Get foderma baby eczema serum. It’s like gold. We use it three times a day and it keeps the eczema at bay. The only downside is that it doesn’t come in a five gallon bucket.
Lush are not registered under the Therapeutic Goods Administration and as such are prohibited from making medicinal claims, including customer testimonials. Furthermore, they market themselves as very natural. As the term natural is not regulated, that can mean anything. The majority of their products are made from harsh sulphates which most people would not consider natural or good for you. Mamamia should be responsible enough to do proper research before sharing this sort of content.
