When it comes to spring racing fashion, Derby Day never disappoints.
Every year, celebrities and influencers alike flock to Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse in some pretty spectacular outfits and of course, outrageous headpieces.
With a strict black and white dress code, guests have to get a little creative with their outfit choices so they can stand out from the monochrome sea of people.
But that hasn’t stopped celebrities like Bec Judd or Brit Davis from coming up with some unique looks. And giving us some serious style inspiration while they’re at it.
Here’s all of this year’s best Derby Day looks, in one place.
Nadia Bartel
Nadia Bartel, who split from former AFL player Jimmy Bartel earlier this year, went for a white off-the-shoulder dress with cut-out side panels.
Anna Heinrich
The Bachelor’s Anna Heinrich wore a classic low-back dress from Forever New which has the best balloon sleeves.
Bec Judd
Bec Judd went for a stylish off-the-shoulder dress with a semi-sheer corset bodice.
Georgia Love
Former Bachelorette Georiga Love wore a black semi-sheer Givenchy dress.
Keira Maguire
The Bachelor’s Keira Maguire rocked up in a chic black pant suit.
Brit Davis
AFL WAG Brit Davis also followed the suit trend, but shook things up with the most incredible leopard print hat we’ve ever seen.
Here’s a closer look.
Rachael Finch
Rachael Finch kept it simple with a classic black dress and her hat seemed to come in handy keeping the rain off her face. Bonus points for functionality.
Sarsha Chisholm, Julie Bishop and Elyse Knowles
Julie Bishop pulled out all the stops with her polka-dot pants.
Rozalia Russian
Influencer Rozalia Russian showed off her style in a black and white zebra print dress.
Tegan Martin
Former Miss Universe Australia and 2019 Melbourne Cup Carnival Ambassador Tegan Martin went with a trusty little black dress.
Kate Waterhouse
And Kate Waterhouse accessorised with some sort of bedazzled tiara headpiece.

So glad to see the "cause of the week" social justice warrior types are finally noticing the bad things about the racing industry after never thinking once about it in their lives before. Is it REALLY such a surprise that the rich and vacuous support it?
Clearly none of them are aware of the ugly business of horse racing and the appalling cruelty involved. Or maybe they are and don't care.
