“I love you with all my Welsh heart… will see you all I promise.”
This was the Valentine’s message from Lisa Williams, 31, to her five children. Three girls and two boys. It arrived in an envelope on February the 14th. It was packed alongside five chocolate bars, and a necklace for one of her daughters for “when you are old enough to wear it”.
Two days before the package arrived, on Sunday February 12, Williams’ body was discovered on a popular beach in Anglesey in Wales.
The body had been badly burned, and was discovered by a security guard at 10:40pm on Newry Beach. The circumstances were not considered suspicious by police.
“The lady, who we believe to be local, was pronounced dead at the scene,” District Inspector Jason Higgins, at Llangefni Police Station told media on Sunday. “Our thoughts are with [her family] at this very difficult time.”
It is reported Williams was heartbroken having lost contact with her children after separating from her husband.
On the day of her death, she posted an image of the Valentine's card and treats to her Facebook page. "Hope this arrives in time Valentine's Day," the post read.
The image showed the open card and five chocolate bars. "I love you with all my Welsh heart. Will see you all soon I promise," the card reads. "Kind hands, kind feet, nice words and sharing is caring."
Tributes for the mother-of-five have flooded both traditional and social media.
"There were a lot more things we wanted to do with you but you're in a better place now. Love you forever Lisa. Gone too soon," one Facebook user commented.
"It's a big loss without you here with us all. Hard to believe that you're gone. You meant the world to us. I'll never forget that cute smile and how kind you were to us all," another said.
Flowers have also been laid at the beach where Williams' body was found.

I don't see how her death is "not suspicious" -- it is quite clear from her writing to her children on the day of her death, that she intended to see/visit them again soon (i.e. "Will see you all soon I promise"). So this should rule out suicide. This article is very vague about the exact circumstances of her death, but from what I gathered, this seems to have been a murder. Are the police just being lazy buffoons and automatically labeling this event as "not suspicious" because they don't want to do any investigative work?
Wait, so if the police claim her burnt body was not suspicious, does that mean she self immolated?
Could have been accidental, I guess?
I think we might not find out, usually in cases where a person has committed suicide police and media are reluctant to talk about the circumstances around it due to the possibility of triggering vulnerable members of the community.
Yeah, that's kinda how I took it. Especially with the wording in the card.
