Morning TV host is having twins. TWINS.

Mornings host David Campbell just announced that he and his wife, Lisa, are expecting twins.

Because he’s hilarious, David used the classic Arnie Schwarzenegger/ Danny Devito movie poster to do it.

That little guy to the right is David and Lisa’s four-year-old son, Leo.

David broke the news live on air with his co-host Sonia Kruger, telling her that twins run in his wife’s family — and he’s “along for the ride”.

She was about this excited:

Meanwhile…

Leo obviously shares hid dad’s love of pop culture — here he is celebrating his new siblings with an Indiana Jones hat.

Any parents of twins out there with advice for David and Lisa?

If same gender, don't be those parents that dress their twins the same. Not only will it make it difficult for you to know which is which, it could give them identity issues. I know twins that are in their 40's and still dress exactly the same every day (they call each other every morning) and get the same haircuts.

When you are are a parent of twins quite frankly this Is the least of your worries it is so exhausting raising twins that when you reach for clothes the fact that they are clean is what matters. With my non identical twin girls I didn't have a hang up either way sometimes they are dressed the same because they want to and have been given the clothes but most of the time not. It is funny because it is such a important issue for everyone else that and the "I always wanted to have twins!" As my husband says everyone wants twins until they have them and find out how exhausting it is. As they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. If you can get thru the first four years of twins you can do anything!!! And two children close together isn't same as twins. Have 3 under 3 then you are getting close!!!

I agree. 3 under 3 here too! I wasn't going to be one of those "dress them the same" mothers, but I received so many clothes as gifts that it was silly not to use them (and so much easier than deciding on two different outfits!)…and I kinda changed my mind and thought it was cute! Besides, they were my babies and I could tell them apart anyway.

Fast forward 11 years and one of my daughters is obsessed with pink everything (still) and the other is into black and white with touches of bright colours (anything but pink) so my dressing them the same had absolutely no long-term effects.

Not dressing them the same is very important to me too - and I have twins also. They are individuals and should be treated this way.
Even though I received lots of generous gifts of the same outfit I just made sure they didn't wear them on the same day together.
I think this May have cemented their individuality because they don't like to wear the same clothes or in fact have anything the same.
