Celeb in 5: Sunday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Apparently Victoria Beckham found some naughty texts on Brooklyn’s phone and got very cranky.

Yikes.

Victoria Beckham has just given us “reason why mothers definitely shouldn’t read their teenage son’s phones” number 571.

You might find texts of a sexual nature from someone you actually know.

Texts, we imagine, that can never be erased from memory.

Poor Posh Spice.

The fashion designer clearly wasn’t prepared when she found some cheeky texts between her son and popstar Rita Ora when he was 18 and she was 26.

So much so, she forbade her son from seeing the singer, and sent him from London to New York to keep him away from her.

According to news.com, a source said of her reaction: “Posh saw a couple of texts they’d been sending. She didn’t want her boy being led astray, and didn’t want them partying together.”

And David reportedly wasn’t impressed either.

“David was pretty furious when he got wind of their friendship, and Victoria was understandably concerned about the age gap,” the source added.

“She thought the whole thing was a bit weird.

“But it takes two to tango, and obviously Brooklyn fully engaged and really fancied Rita.”

The couple – who are eight years apart – were seen holding hands at the Electric in West London last year, as well as cosying up at Glastonbury.

However, and much to Victoria’s delight we assume, they called their relationship quits shortly after.

…But she’ll never unsee the texts.

We hope she’s learnt her lesson.

2. Why Georgie Gardner wasn’t at Karl Stefanovic’s wedding.

The rumour that Georgie Gardner and Karl Stefanovic don’t get along is one people just can’t get enough of.

Following Ubergate last year, and of course the controversial former Today host’s recent ousting from the Nine Network, the rumours have never ceased to die down.

And when it was discovered Georgie didn’t attend Karl’s Mexican wedding to Jasmine Yarbrough last year, they were of course thrust back into the headlines.

However, the mother-of-two has a very simple explanation as to why she didn’t head to Karl and Jasmine’s nuptials.

“I wasn’t in a position to do both,” Gardner told Stellar this weekend. “So the four of us went out and had a lovely lunch and I gave him a wedding gift of a cheese knife, handmade by a friend. I think I said in the card, ‘Enjoy using this with the best cheese you can find because I believe all problems can be solved over a cheese platter.’”

She went on to say that her and Karl had a “very solid friendship” but suspected that the media weren’t interested in the truth.

“Ask anyone who knows us individually or as an on-air team, there was never any hate. All year I kept reading comments that apparently I hated him but no-one ever asked me directly, and you know why? Because they didn’t want the truth. It might’ve disrupted the tantalising narrative of Georgie and Karl.

“I took it on [the job] with enormous hope and confidence that we’d be a really formidable and appealing partnership, but there were two things I wasn’t prepared for: the intense and unrelenting interest in Karl’s personal life and the ongoing false narrative that Karl and I didn’t get along.”

3. The single Instagram post that lost Matty J more than 1000 followers.

In between his cheeky charm and dad jokes, Matty J has a strong set of values, and he isn't shy to make them known to his 219,000 followers.

But following a post on Instagram yesterday, in which the 31-year-old expressed he believes Australia Day celebrates "genocide", the influencer says he lost around 1000 followers.

"I absolutely love this country and I’m as keen as the next person to celebrate this. But I think Jan 26 is not that day. There is no pride in genocide - it’s time to change the date," he wrote in the Instagram.

One commenter noted that the opinion was unpopular among many Australians, commenting, "I wonder how many people unfollowed you today..." to which Matty J responded "about a thousand... worth it though".

The former Bachelor's girlfriend, Laura Byrne, defended his position in the comments, writing that over 10,000 Aboriginal people were slaughtered when Australia was invaded.

4. Jacqui Lambie has been rushed to hospital during filming of I'm a Celebrity.

Australian politician Jacqui Lambie will be rushed to hospital on Sunday night's episode of I'm a Celebrity.

In a clip shared by the show's Instagram, the 47-year-old  appears to sustain a head injury.

"We can't show you much, but what we can tell you is tonight's trial involves Jacqui Lambie, a large boulder to the face and an ambulance," the caption says.

The clip shows a large boulder going over herself and Justin Lacko, followed by footage of what appears to be the 47-year-old in an ambulance.

The obstacle course is part of the Sunday Slam challenge, in which Lambie is trying to collect 12 stars for her camp.

Ouch.

5. Everything we know about Jelena Djokovic, the woman in Novak Djokovic's life.

As the number one men’s player, Novak Djokovic is one of the most recognisable names in tennis.

He has 14 Grand Slam wins under his belt, including six Australian Open titles, which may soon become seven as he prepares to face Rafael Nadal in the Melbourne final tonight.

But while his on-court finesse never ceases to impress spectators, what does life look like away from the court, the cameras, and the headlines, for Novak Djokovic?

Well, to the legendary Serbian player – there’s one person who keeps him grounded from the inside out.

His wife and high teenage sweetheart: Jelena Djokovic.

The couple married in 2014 and have two children together – daughter Tara, who just turned one, and Stefan, who turns four in October.

They met as teenagers, and recounting their first date when he was just 18, Djokovic said he was desperate to impress “the most wonderful girl he had ever met”.
