Mum shares mesmerising side-by-side videos of her pregnancy with twins versus one baby.

Vlogger Natalie Bennett is currently 36 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. She’s also a mother to twin boy toddlers.

Despite her probably extremely hectic life, Natalie has been regularly sharing pregnancy updates via her YouTube channel, and this week’s update was very special indeed.

You see, Natalie decided to share the comparison between the size of her baby belly while she was 36 weeks pregnant with twins, and her belly now, with just one baby inside.

The results are eye-watering and mesmerising, to say the least.

A gif of Natalie's two bellies, side by side, has since been viewed more than 282,000 times on picture sharing site Imgur.

The soon to be mum-of-three is the first to admit that her first pregnancy belly "looks inhuman".

"My belly was so ridiculously large," she said of the comparison between her two pregnancies.

"People look at it and go, 'Oh my gosh, what the heck am I looking at?' But that is actually what I looked like.

LISTEN to the latest episode of pregnancy podcast HELLO BUMP, where Bec Judd and Monique Bowley talk baby brain and shotgunning names.

"I had a huge torpedo belly sticking out...like a shelf, it was so heavy and my skin was so stretched."

Just a few weeks shy of welcoming her third child, Natalie said life as a mother is "as hard as it's ever been".

"Parenting toddler twins is hard, and I'm nine months pregnant," she said.

"I'm exhausted by the end of the day, I'm discouraged on a regular basis because we're in the terrible twos with these boys and it is a lot of work.

"It's a lot of work to be pregnant and to be doing this at the same time."

Overall, Natalie said her second pregnancy has been "easier" and "much more comfortable" than her first.

"I would say that this pregnancy just overall has been more convenient because it has been so straightforward," she shared.

"One baby is so much more straightforward than a pregnancy with multiples."

I remember being blown away that my stomach circumference was the same at 25 weeks with my twins as full term with my son! I couldn't believe I had so many weeks to go and wondered how my body would stretch to fit!

How about normalizing multiple births? It's 2017!? We don't belong in a freak show and using terms like eye-watering, mesmerizing and inhuman all instill a lack of self confidence and social acceptance in mothers expecting more then one baby. You can guarantee no one will describe Beyoncé's twin bump that way it will all be positive so why not for us everyday mums?

Considering how far media has come in not shaming mums post baby bodies, why are we still behind the times supporting multiple mums?
