How hard is it to walk down a catwalk? This hard.
It’s a new viral video that’s a mash of the most entertaining runway model fails and it’s notched up more than 800,000 views since it was posted a couple of days ago.
You can’t help but laugh – or cry.

All that wobbling, but still carrying on! Reminds me of determined little kids learning to ice skate.

Just proves NO ONE can walk in those shoes…

Yuck. How awful. Why the need to do post footage of people publicly failing and hurting themselves? Really gutter stuff MM. Had to turn off.
loading...
Why don’t they do it barefoot? Who is looking at their shoes anyway- except to see if they fall off them!
loading...
Part of the stuff they are showing is the shoes.. they then sell them..
BUT WHO COULD WALK IN THEM?!!!!
loading...
Husband and I howled!
loading...
Oopsy laughed so loud I woke my baby up
loading...
If they had cankles maybe their ankles would wobble around so much

Gold!

Lucky I wasn’t born with supermodel good looks or that could have been me!

Geez, thank you. That’s the best belly laugh I’ve had in ages. And simultaneous cry – just hysterical!

i cringed at the way some of their ankles were bending and wobbling…ouch…. laughed till i cried though!!

Half of the time I was cringing at the pain their ankles would be in tomorrow.
But I PMSL’ed at the hat falling over, and the big gong.

It’s juvenile, it’s petty, it’s puerile, and just a wee bit malicious, but by God, I laughed until I cried.

I totally agree.
I’m still crying from laughing. And I don’t know why it’s really that funny!
Going back to watch it again. Laughter is good.

Those poor things! Some of those catwalks were deathtraps and what was with the pool. Of COURSE someone would fall in it!

I am so happy I am not a super model. When I fell only a few people saw it (I hope) it was so embarrassing and of course I jumped straight up and pretended everything was ok, no bother, no I am not hurt……the next day, I could not sit by bum was SO sore! Back to the SM’s why must they wear such high clunky shoes? And why are the runways so slippery and why is the lighting so bad??? This is a serious OH &S issue, I wonder if any of them claim “compo”? Poor girls, I feel sorry for them.

Bloody high heels!
Why, oh why do they have to look so damn good…
These poor girls, I couldn’t watch it all – I felt guilty laughing and slightly evil, so I had to stop it haha.
loading...
ooh I laughed till my head stitches came out.
Now I’m all drippy.
loading...
hee hee hee I laughed even though I didn’t want to. It’s scary they have to walk in shoes like that, I kept waiting for their ankles to snap in half
loading...
The wobbly ankles!! I can’t believe that ankles actually go at those angles!
loading...
This reminds me of a episode on last years Australia’s Next Top Model, when the girls had to walk down a catwalk, on top of a pool, in a bubble. I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard in my entire life.
loading...
That was awesome!

I feel like I can laugh at this only because I had so many near misses during my (very short) modelling days.
The worst part was they only ever seemed to have sample size 9 shoes. Well most very tall girls I know are a size 10! So trying to squish your feet into too small shoes, and then walking normally. On a slippery surface. Next to a pool.
So mean.

yes , yes I know I’m going to get told to “lighten up” (heard it before so save your breath) but…. I just don’t have that kind of personality that finds humour in others misfortune
Although I do love that so many of them are laughing at themselves. That’s so cool! and… okay… sigh… a rogue bout of laughing got me at the end with that giant Dr Seuss hat (wtf?) falling off the catwalk…
loading...
I thought the same…. obviously the designers don’t test out these ridiculous shoes (and slippery surfaces) before sending the models down the catwalk. One woman looked as though her ankle was about to snap.
loading...
I agree! I felt their pain and embarrassment. Poor girls. I hope they work hurt badly!
loading...
***weren’t

The shoes are just samples. The designs will be refined later.
But most of this video is from amateur events eg. Charleston Fashion Week. No supermodels (or top designers) there.
loading...
Quite a few of the shots are from Americas next top model so it’s all set up anyway.
loading...
Mmmm….guess you’re not the #1 fan of Funniest Home Videos then
loading...
Nope, I didn’t laugh either and not a fan of Funniest Home Video’s – my family think I am missing a chromosone but I honestly feel for them more than I can laugh. Maybe it has something to do with the fact I once fell off a stage while performing a dance routine??!!
loading...
I didn’t laugh either. In fact I almost felt my ankles aching in sympathy and had to look away from the screen on several occasions.
loading...
OMG I laughed and cried it has topped my day!
loading...
Absolutely effing ridiculous shoes are absolutely effing ridiculous.
Except beware of giant rogue pendulums.
loading...
That was actually out of America’s Next Top Model. They always do random crazy stuff on that show to rack up a few stacks!
loading...
Ouch. Some of those falls look painful.
I was very touched by the goodness of one man that got out of his seat to help one poor girl walk safely off the runway.
loading...
I know but how about the guy on the pool catwalk who continues on as if nothing has happened to his drowning colleague.
loading...
Ok, people are going to come into my office and catch me reading Mamamia now. That was too funny for words.
loading...
I laughed so much I cried.
loading...
Thank you! I needed a really good laugh today. Sometimes you really need to have a harmless laugh at others expense! The musical accompaniment was perfection. I almost ended up looking like that Harvey Nicholls ad…
