Steven Sotloff appeared last week in an ISIS video showing the decapitation of American journalist James Foley. It was threatened that he would be next.
Shirley Sotloff spoke directly to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a video broadcast on Al Arabiya Network. “He is an innocent journalist,” she said.

Re: number 14. I completely understand why people feel this way. I'm a 22 year old woman and I once came across a young girl who looked about 4 or 5 and was crying alone outside the front of a shopping centre in my city (right in front of a busy car park and main road). All of the other shoppers ignored her, so I sat down with her. She told me her Dad had left her outside to go into the shops, he had been gone for a long time and she was freaking out that he wasn't coming back. While she was telling me this he came back and he gave me the dirtiest look! I tried to explain what happened but he just ignored me and walked off with her. The incident made me feel uncomfortable, because he acted like I was in the wrong and a predator or something, when I was genuinely concerned about his daughter!
As a parent I would have been glad to see someone like you checking my child was ok when they were visibly upset. Don't let one wally change who you are.....that's a nice quality to care for others x
Parents like you don't leave their 4-5 year olds outside a shopping centre unattended and then act surprised when a sensible citizen comes to the aid of his child. The dad is clearly a moron.
Exactly what I was thinking.
True!
Jeez, way to go Zara. Does anyone in their Buying Office have a brain? Nothing clicked when they saw the sample? Perhaps they can produce a new line in Slavery T-Shirts for the next season and offend everybody? Dum-dums!
Because not everyone goes looking for insults?
I would not have linked that shirt to the holocaust nor the phrase "white is the new black" to racism.
Seriously? You would not have linked the yellow star to the Holocaust? I can't imagine anyone not knowing that. And just calling it an "insult" is unbelievable. It was the major reprehensible event of the 20th Century, bar none.
I saw a western-style shirt until I read the post.
Wow, really? The stripes, the yellow star. It just hit me between the eyes and made me feel ill. Just goes to show - the eye of the beholder.
