Meet the woman who shed 76kg after spending $155,000 on weight-loss surgeries.

A 32-year-old woman has lost an incredible 76kg after spending $155,000 worth of surgeries.

Undergoing a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in 2014, Georgia Ailes says she had tried every diet and weight-loss plan imaginable before a hormone decline shut down her metabolism, leading her to go under the knife.

“Before having a gastric bypass I’d tried a lot of diets, supplements and diet pills in the past but nothing worked… Looking back to when I was at my heaviest weight, I wish I never would have let myself get that way,” the Washington state resident told The Daily Mailadding, “but now I have no regrets and am super happy I’ve overcame it all.”

Following the surgery and a strict diet of only protein shakes and other liquid food, Ailes lost weight so quickly she was left with an abundance of excess skin.

"My stomach was flabby and had flabby rolls, it was like a pile of extra skin all around the stomach and breasts," she said. "I looked good and a lot healthier but I had a lot of excess skin, that was just like a shar-pei dog."

So, deciding to go under the knife once more, Ailes had an abdominoplasty and a breast lift.

"I needed breast surgery because the extreme weight loss had left them deflated, I went from having a 42H to a 32 nothing, they were more like old lady breasts," Ailes explained.

"I feel very proud now, I'm part of a support group where I live and it's always nice to look back and see how far I've came."

Originally motivated to lose weight so she could spend quality time with her nieces and nephews, the dental assistant says she and her husband are now looking forward to having a family of their own one day.

"I was worried about having children before, because I was overweight and knew I wouldn't be able to run around with my children as much I will be able to now," she said, adding "Now that I'm able to incorporate cardio into my workouts I want to continue being that active person and want to go hiking.

"I feel so much more confident now, I don't feel like it's holding me back anymore."
