Some days it seems the Internet is full to bursting with viral videos of over-the-top wedding proposals.
But there’s no flash-mobs, billboards or trickery here. No underwater camera required.
Recently the University of Mississippi Medical Centre shared a video of a patient, Andrea Diaz, receiving a cochlear implant.
It shows her joy as she hears for the first time the voices of her doctor, her mother and her boyfriend.
If you’re not crying already, just wait for the moment her boyfriend gets down on one knee and asks if his best friend will marry him: “I wanted the make one of the first things you hear is me asking you to marry me.”
Um, I’m not sobbing, the pollen count is unusually high today.
