Kourtney Kardashian tried to teach her niece about selfies. It did not end well.

For a family who has built its empire on the power of a selfie, it’s astonishing to think there may be a member of the Kardashian family who doesn’t want their photo taken.

But then again, Dream Kardashian is only seven months old, so we can probably forgive her… for now.

Attending her cousin North and Penelope’s joint Moana-themed birthday party over the weekend, Dream (who is the daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna) seemed to have a blast in the paddling pool, but when it came to sharing a photo with one of her ultra-famous aunts, things changed quickly.

Being held up next to 38-year-old Kourtney for a selfie, Dream quickly began screaming. And as you’d expect, it made for photo magic.

Sharing the image with her 58 million followers, Kourtney wrote, “she’s not into selfies yet.”

All we can say is, give her time, Kourtney. Give her time.

Other photos and videos from the birthday bash, which celebrated Kim’s daughter North’s fourth birthday and Kourtney’s daughter Penelope’s fifth birthday, showed the celebration included a jumping castle, pool party, dance classes and the mother of all birthday cakes.

Dream was born in November last year, months after Rob and Blac Chyna had announced their engagement, which has since been called off.

Their pregnancy, relationship and Dream’s birth were all documented in their one-season reality television show Rob and Chyna.

“Today was amazing,” 30-year-old Rob wrote in an Instagram post following Dream’s birth.

“I am so lucky!! Thank you @blacchyna for having our baby and being so strong! I love you so much and can’t wait to see her get older day by day with you,” he continued, adding, “I love you and Dream so much and appreciate both of you.”
