CELEB NEWS: Glee star accused of sexual assault.

Mark Salling has been accused of sexual assault.

1. Glee cast member Mark Salling – who plays bad boy Puck on the show – has been accused of sexual battery and assault, after having unprotected sex with a woman after she asked him to wear a condom.

According to E! News, the woman, Roxanne Gorzela, asked Salling, “What are you doing?” when they began having sex, before demanding that he wear a condom.

Salling did not comply.

In the days that followed, Gorzela attempted to contact Salling to find out when he was last tested for STDs. Eventually she went to his house to ask him in person, where Gorzela claims that he physically pushed her away, causing her to hit her head.

Salling’s representative spoke to E! News, saying, “There is no truth to this. We turn the rest over to Mark’s attorneys and have no further comment.”

5. Ellen DeGeneres has already revealed she’s coming to Australia – but before she does, she will fly two Aussies to LA.

And droves of people would like to be one of those lucky two. Australian fans of the all-dancing talk-show host gathered in Sydney Harbour overnight, after Ellen tweeted:

This morning at 10am there was a live cross with her producers from the Opera House – and Ellen encouraged her fans to show up with passports and packed luggage.

In the end, two young girls were selected to travel to LA – after proving how much they wanted it, by performing an opera-style song for the other hopefuls gathered in the harbour.

Manu Feildel, host of My Kitchen Rules.

6. Manu Feildel, the frontman of popular cooking show My Kitchen Rules, was seen driving through the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney yesterday. No big deal, right?

Except that Manu only has his learner’s licence – and was driving without L-plates or a supervising driver in the vehicle.

Now, there is no shame in having your learner’s licence as an adult – especially as it has taken Manu, originally from France, several years to get around to taking his driver’s test. As long as you’re still abiding by the rules of the road. Because although it may seem slightly embarrassing, it’s not nearly as embarrassing as having your licence confiscated for up to three months – which is now a distinct possibility for Feildel. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
