What a great idea. An Aussie lifesaver version would be awesome!

Love it. I’m going to share it with my friends. I might even download the app as I am crap at remembering to self check! I think Anthony is very nice on the eye and I quite like the doctor too! The other boys were a bit catwalk model stripper creepy! Ha
loading...
That’s awesome!
loading...
It would be more appealing to women if the guys in the video were straight…
loading...
Hahahaha was thinking the same thing
loading...
Oh. Were they gay? They came across straight to me. But then again, I was totally distracted…..
loading...
That was so gay!
loading...
wish they had also had no pants on….. lol
loading...
I love that, in the end, the doc is the hottest of them all. Lol. This really is a great video. I’m glad that a fun, interesting approach to educating about such an important matter is finally here. Thanks!
loading...
Love it! It’s just a whole lot of humour and yummyness all rolled into one and it makes me smile. Have watched it a few times now, to make sure I’m getting the message!!
loading...
Brilliant.
loading...
That was funny and very entertaining! Love it!
loading...
If only the got the Old Spice guy to do this!
loading...
Brilliant!!! I tend always to put things off, but my Mum had breast cancer and my Dad had lung cancer. Mum survived because she found the a small pea-sized lump and she went to the doctor immediately. Dad wasn’t so lucky. I’ll get this app for sure!

It’s silly and heterocentric and objectifying but fun at the same time – just one way (of many) to remind women to examine their breasts regularly.
loading...
Well that made me giggle like a schoolgirl, lol! Just a fun ad, love it
loading...
A bit cheesy ‘beefcake’ in style for me – although I did giggle at the dancing at the end. However if it makes people regularly check for lumps or changes then I am all for it.
loading...
My husband has had cancer twice and survived but still being checked every 6 months. Second time was prostate caught early. It’s so important that men are reminded to check themselves or go for checks too. If this ad helps males or females I think it’s great. Xx
loading...
Bwa ha ha, the dancing at the end is priceless!
loading...
how on earth do i download that, i dont own any apple products
loading...
It is on the android too
loading...
Well hey, I’m less likely to watch a video if there’s a ‘hot guy’ in it, so what the hell do I do?
loading...
Click on the link above and go back to the male one
But in all seriousness, do they target breast cancer ads?
loading...
She’s definitely NOT my type! Ha ha. But even if it were a hot butchie, I would still not be impressed.
I tuned out after it was implied that people don’t care about medical issues unless there is a hot man/woman telling you to get tested/check yourselves etc. It seem a little patronising.
The advertisements that I think are really effective (I am guessing this is biased) are the ones that tell queer women and pre-op trans men to get pap smears. They don’t pander (omgBOOBIES!) and they get the message across to a swathe of people who will, for one reason or another, often ignore certain health issues.
But being the daughter of two nurses, I’ve been educated from a young age about my health/testing, so I’m lucky that way
loading...
Although I am certainly not opposed to more butch women in advertisements in general! It’s funny that I’m invisible in my own minority, but my girlfriend is invisible in mainstream media.
loading...
These ads address a group of people who would otherwise ignore important information just because it simply did not keep their interest. If it comes across as insulting to the intelligence, keep in mind, you are not likely the target audience. Nothing can be made to be suitable for everyone….which is precisely the point behind this campaign. It, and others like it, are meant for those who don’t normally care, aren’t informed enough, or are too intimidated by the rigidity and “hush hush” nature of the subject to pay attention to these things. It seems patronizing…because it is. Some people really do just need to be treated like juveniles to get a point across.
loading...
I’m sorry, I got distracted. Can you repeat that please?
loading...
me too, especially the”doctor” at the end….
The idea is good though.
loading...
Lol, too funny… Good idea too.
loading...
Brilliant!!!
loading...
Awesome. I wasn’t even listening and it nearly made me touch myself.
loading...
oh I LOVE it. thanks so much for sharing.
loading...
Wow, who knew the Doc was that hot under there too!
loading...
I haven’t blushed and giggled like that in a long time!
My man reminder is literally that – my man reminding me. He loves to cop a feel, all in the name of early detection, of course…
We had a scare a while back, so I’m very glad to be reminded.

loading...
Can you set the reminder on the app for three or four times a day?
I can remember the breast check on my own – I just want to be reminded of the abs… FREQUENTLY!

The guys are a bit…..vanilla for me. But great idea for an app. Downloading now….
loading...
What do you mean by Vanilla Mia, they looked anything but to me? Looked like the full neopolitan was on offer there.
What does it take for a man to impress you in the looks department out of interest Mia? Quite often when there are Male models on this site (like the articles for the gay mens magazine covers), you make a comment as if to underscore that they do nothing for you. Just interested.
loading...
They probably do nothing for her (or me) because they look so gay! More Ricks type!
loading...
Yeah… although they were different, all very clean cut. Is that what you mean?
My ideal app would contain Josh Radnor (Ted in How I met your Mother), Todd Sampson and Robert Downey Jr, on a daily rotational basis. Oh, and Dr Andrew Rochford as the doc!
loading...
that’s pretty funny, but where is the chest hair? does nobody else in the world but me like it anymore!?
loading...
I’m with you Jane! Nothing wrong with a hairy chest!!
loading...
Fantastic, totally made my day!!
loading...
LOL hilarious ad! I am so downloading that app!
loading...
I think it’s cute. I just think it’s a little gay. It feels like it might be an ad for checking your balls… but for gay men.
loading...
Its ‘a little gay’ ????? WTF? Who says that nowadays? It wasnt even acceptable when I was a teenager and that was over 20 years ago!
loading...
Settle down!
I’m not saying it’s ‘gay’ as in ‘lame’. That would be homophobic and derogatory. I’m saying it’s ‘gay’ as in literally! The feel of the ad is that it’s trying to appeal to gay men. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but the ad is firmly aimed at women.) Especially the scene with four semi-naked men in the hospital ward. I’ve seen gay porn scenes that have started out that way…
loading...
That was exactly my thought Yeah! Its cute, but appeared to have been created with the gay aesthetic in mind – all that bottom wriggling and pouty stuff – reminded me of the dancers in the sydney mardi gras (which I love, btw). Id still get the app however, for a giggle and to remind me to do my checks.
Maybe a more hetero-female-centric one could feature an attractive bloke offering to give me a very long back rub and then do all the housework , so I have time to check my bosoms?
loading...
Worked for me and I’m definitely not male!
loading...
The ad starts off a bit corny, but must admit apart from limited info what are we checking for exactly, it gave me a blush and a giggle.
loading...
I love this ad! Very funny
loading...
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA Gold!
Total man-candy hilariousness.
loading...
That works for me .. for medical reasons of course ..
More fun in this ad than the testicular cancer ad
loading...
I REALLY don’t like this ad – it makes me really uncomfortable. I feel like I’m being patronised!
loading...
HAHAHAHAHAHAH
loading...
that is hilarious ….. well done Anthony and friends!!
loading...
Men can get breast cancer too…so, Mia, if you see Rick looking at this video over and over again, he’s just doing his regular TLC…
loading...
My Dad had breast cancer, he found the lump while in the shower
loading...
Hope all is well with your Dad…
I’ve got a lot of BC in my family, so I TLC a lot…guys, we need to check upstairs AND downstairs…
loading...
He actually died nearly 3 years ago. He had surgery and chemo for the BC and beat it but a couple of years later cancer was found in his bones and then a year later in his pancreas and his chest. He fought for 3 more months but then it got too much.
So now I am a big believer in making guys aware that they get BC too and have had times when at BC events (women on the field in 2010 held at MCG) where people have come up to me and my mum and sister and asked why we were in blue while everyone else is in pink.
loading...
So sorry about your dad…My mum and sister had BC…both survived, but died later of unrelated illnesses…
I love the idea of wearing blue…maybe they should sell blue ribbons alongside the pink ones.
loading...
There is only one site I have found online (USA) that is dedicated to male breast cancer and their logo is the pink ribbon that has blue on one end.
loading...
My dad died a year ago today. Not from BC though. You and your family and JJ are brilliant for raising awareness for men and BC. Losing a dad before his time is really hard xo
loading...
sending you huge hugs
loading...
Right back at ya feisty
