The 40th American Music Awards were held in LA last night, with Carrie Underwood, Gwen Stefani, Heidi Klum and Ginnifer Goodwin all walking the red carpet.
Ten points to Carly Rae Jepsen who won New Artist of the Year and looked every bit the Hollywood style icon in an embellished dress.
Flick through this gallery to see what they wore. Special mention to Taylor Swift, who won Favourite Female Country Artist and also takes home my (virtual) trophy for best dressed at the AMAs.
ISWIS Awards: Steph Rice and Leisel Jones
There were the usual black gowns at this year’s Awards, but a little less expected was the number of embellished and sequinned dresses shimmering down the red carpet – Heidi Klum, Taylor Swift, Stacy Keibler, Jennifer Morrison and Jenny McCarthy, we’re looking at you. Nikki Minaj and Kerry Washington both arrived in high-voltage yellow frocks. However, Minaj went on to changes her dress (and her wig) several times throughout the night, while repeating her AMAs wins from last year with awards for Favourite Rap/Hip-hop Artist and Album.
