Zoe Marshall uses this $10 chemist cleanser to wash her armpits and the reason why makes so much sense.

This wonderful nugget of beauty wisdom comes courtesy of Mamamia’s beauty podcast, You Beauty

For this week’s In Her Bag, Leigh Campbell rummaged through Zoe Marshall’s beauty bag to find out what products she loves.

Zoe Marshall is a media personality and a self-proclaimed ‘over sharer’. As well as working as a writer, TV presenter, radio host and brand ambassador, Zoe is mum to Fox, her first child with her husband and NRL player Benji Marshall. Zoe is also the co-host of Mamamia’s upcoming podcast The Baby Bubble, the no bull sh*t show about what happens when you take your baby home.

Zoe Marshall is a pretty glamorous lady.

You might recognise her face from your Instagram feed, the telly or jazzed up on the Dally M red carpet alongside her husband, NRL player Benji Marshall, and think… her armpits probably don’t stink.

But just like you and me, Zoe is a human being with armpits that sometimes get sweaty when she’s out and about living her busy life.

Being the resourceful woman she is, the mum-of-one came up with a genius (and cheap) hack to solve this entirely normal but annoying beauty problem, as Mamamia’s executive editor and beauty guru Leigh Campbell found out when she interviewed Zoe for the You Beauty podcast.

To find out more about Zoe’s ‘unglamorous’ beauty hack, along with all the other beauty products she loves and uses everyday, keep scrolling.

Zoe Marshall’s go-to beauty products.

Cosmedix Benefit Clean Gentle Cleanser, $70.

Cosmedix Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser, $70.

Aspect Pigment Punch, $129.80.

Aspect Phytostat 9 Moisturiser, $89.80.

Cosmedix Reflect Antioxidant Moisturising Spray SPF15, $77.

Universkin bespoke skin treatments.

Why she loves them:

"I have quite easy skin, I've always looked after it and I've never, ever put my face in the sun, even as a teenager. I use the gentle cleanser... on the third day, I use the purity exfolitaor, it's a chemical exfoliator. Because I'm breastfeeding, I can't use retinol and vitamin A, but I use the pigment punch serum. The Aspect day moisturiser is just so easy, I can use it day and night which is great for travel. The Cosmedix sunscreen doesn't have that greasy sunscreen feeling."

Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer, $76.

Why she loves it:

"I haven't had a product that's blown my mind like this for a long time, this product is legit and people have been giving me compliments [since I started wearing it]."

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, $69.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, $44.

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, $66.

Why she loves them:

"I only use the sheer glow if I'm going to an event, but I always use the NARS tinted moisturiser. I don't like too much coverage, so I mix the foundation with the tinted moisturiser so it feels like the best of both worlds. The concealer is the only one [I've tried] that makes me look light and bright."

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Volumizing Mascara, $16.50.

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in Power Red, $42.

Why she loves it:

"My nan just passed, and she would always put on a red lip. I don't often do a red lip, but I want to do one... [for her]. She would always say 'can you buy me a new red lippie', it was her thing, she felt undone without it, she was such a lady."

Melissa Sassine Golden Goddess Bronzer, $50.

Melissa Sassine Clear Gloss, $28.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream, $40.

Why she loves it:

"This feels so luxe... I need one thing in my life that makes me feel sexy and lush."

ModelCo ONE HOUR TAN, $20.

L'Artisan Parfumeur La Chasse aux Papillons 50ml, $171.25.

Why she loves it:

"This is my power perfume. If I'm going into a meeting or doing something I'm anxious about, I'll wear this."

Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne 100ml, $198.

Why she loves it:

"I wore this on my wedding day, it's my floral, feminine scent."

Ayu Souq Perfume Oil, $60.

Why she loves it:

"I wear this when I want to be all Earth Mother - it's natural, it's all I wear around the baby."

Zoe's Spendy: Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Collection, $71.

Why she loves it:

"I'm obsessed with this, it smells so good and it has every colour you'll use - mostly warm browns, golds and peaches, it's my quick go-to palette."

Zoe's Savey: Phisohex Antibacterial Face Wash, $9.49.

Why she loves it:

"People that have acne-prone skin use this... but I use this on my underarms. When you sweat and get stinky and odour-y, I use this in the shower on my armpits because it kills bacteria."
