Regular woman recreates high-fashion ads. Woman is clearly a genius.

Ever wondered what happens when a regular, not ridiculously good-looking woman poses for high fashion adverts? Wonder no more.

Parisian photo stylist Nathalie Croquet has more than 30 years experience working in the fashion industry — you know the one that’s full of all those long legged, beautiful people? That one.

Want more? A supermodel shows off her stretch marks. Women everywhere forgive her for everything.

Anyway, over her career she has worked with more than 200 photographers and helped put together countless fashion campaigns.

For a change of pace she decided to jump in front of the camera recently and boy are we glad she did.

With the same clothes, backgrounds, locations and je ne sais quoi, Croquet recreated 11 well-know high fashion campaigns — and nailed them.

Have a look through the SPOOF project here, it will make your day.

Kind of just rams home the point that supermodels and much more beautiful than the rest of us. It actually makes them look more extraordinary, which is a good thing I think. There's only so much airbrushing can do, and the rest of us mere mortals needs to accept that the 0.001 percent of the population that look like this are genetic freaks and we can't hold ourselves up to those ideals.

Good on her. Anything that pokes fun at the ridiculous fashion industry is a good idea. I can't believe people actually waste their lives taking this stuff seriously.
