In Taiwan, the first Hello Kitty maternity hospital has been built. Everything is Hello Kitty from the sheets to the curtains and the furniture and life-sized Hello Kitty characters do regular ward visits.

As a former child protection specialist with DOCS, I'm not surprised to learn of this comment from an upper middle class conservative, who no doubt discusses her views on children at risk, with her ultra conservative friend Jeanette Howard, aka her indoors. When Ms Goward hears some of the stories from within her new portfolio, I hope he will realise how bloody ridiculous this comment was.

You know, in keeping with a more realistic theme, they should make a materntiy hospital where the entrance is a huge vagina and the staff walk around in little sperm outfits.
