You don’t have to live up to society’s expectations when it comes to getting engaged and married. In fact, it’s becoming more common to branch out from the ‘norm’ and do something unique for you and your partner.
Your engagement ring should be no different. You don’t have to have the single band ring with a shiny stone (or rock) on top. If that’s what you’re into go gangbusters but if not, don’t feel pressure to have the same as everyone else.
Remember that your engagement ring is one that you’ll have on your finger for life. It’s a ring you’ll look down at and see every single day (multiple times) so you need to like it. No. You need to love it. You need to adore looking at it and showing it off to people.
