Woman who says Donald Trump allegedly raped her as a child is 'too afraid to show her face'.

The woman suing Donald Trump for allegedly raping her when she was 13 years old announced that she would speak publicly for the first time at a press conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. But when the conference was scheduled to start, the woman’s attorney called it off.

On Wednesday morning attorney and legal commentator Lisa Bloom announced that the woman, known only as Jane Doe, would appear at a press conference that afternoon at Bloom’s Woodland Hills law office giving up her anonymity.

“More than four months ago a woman using the pseudonym ‘Jane Doe’ sued Donald Trump for a series of sexual assaults that she alleges occurred at parties in New York in 1994,” Bloom’s press release stated. “Jane Doe was just thirteen years old at the time.”

But when the press conference was scheduled to begin, Bloom, the daughter of famed civil rights attorney Gloria Allred, who herself is representing two of Trump’s accusers, entered the room alone.

“Jane Doe has received numerous threats today, as have all the Trump accusers that I have represented,” said Bloom. “She is living in fear. She has decided that she is too afraid to show her face. She’s been here all day, ready to do it, but unfortunately she is in terrible fear. So we’re going to have to reschedule. I apologise to all of you who came.”

In her lawsuit, Jane Doe alleges that in 1994, when she was just 13 years old, Trump raped her repeatedly at parties thrown by Jeffrey Epstein, a New York financier who was convicted of pedophilia in 2008 that Trump has admitted to knowing.

“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump told New York magazine in 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

Trump has denied all charges.

“I would say the same thing I’ve said a million times,” Trump’s attorney Alan Garten told BuzzFeed News in October. “The allegations are reckless, irresponsible, and categorically untrue.”

A federal judge in New York has ordered counsel for Trump and Epstein to appear in court on December 16.

I think both Trump and Clinton are unsuitable for Office and I pity the poor US citizens who have been reduced to this choice. This really does highlight how this particular election is the weirdest and dirtiest campaign in US politics.

This is starting to get ridiculous. Talk about over reach. Sorry Clinton/Democrats you are getting desperate and in your desperation you are going too far beyond the bounds of credibility.
Luckily most people will see through this last desperate pathetic attempt to smear Trump.

One woman coming forward might be a "desperate, pathetic attempt", but the huge number we've seen (and they don't appear to be slowing) indicates there is definitely a problem with Trump's attitude to women.

This case has been in the making for a very long time, so it's more than just Dems' desperation. It has not received much publicity because one, with anonymous accuser it isn't much of a story and two, it appears there are some questions hanging over the whole affair. Even Jezebel was apparently underwhelmed because they looked into it back in June, but didn't run full-steam ahead with this story.

You may want to examine the polls. Trump isn't winning:

And he doesn't need the democrats to "smear" him. If you consider smear in this case to be speaking the truth.

Trump's open sexism, racism, strong man tactics and lack of any competence policies mark him unfit for public office. It is that hopefully that most people will see.
