The top baby names for 2016 have been predicted. And there are some real stinkers.
It seems the days of simple names are long gone…
When it comes to baby names, 2016 is all about the retro (think Hetty and Percy), pop culture (Game of Thrones’ Khaleesi, Harry Potter‘s Luna and Girls‘ Marni all feature) and the strangely spelt (like Safiyaa and Lochlan).
According to Baby Centre, these are the top 29 names for boys and girls next year:

Is this just research to see if the naming of children can be manipulated? If this works how many other stories will appear to control the masses into somebody elses way of thinking. Quite scary. I have had dogs named Gemma, Suki,Chloe and Gigi I think they would make great girls names. However just could not bring myself to name my girls that. And we had a Stirling living behind us. Hope all the Stirlings don't turn out like him.
