We are so used to seeing the highlight reel on our social media feeds.
The perfect Sunday brunch photo, but no words what happened on the Saturday night. Kids smiling happily in a family photo but missing the tantrum just before. A snap of your new fab outfit, but no mention of the hours it took your friends to take it.
All of that not mentioned.

This is not everyone's life with kids. TMI. And I'm sure your son will appreciate the sharing of this pic when he is older.
I don't believe her, who sits on the toilet with little kids doing a #2 looking like butter wouldn't melt?
My #2 this morning consisted of about 5 seconds of peace before my twins started bickering, fighting and escalating to hitting, hair pulling and screaming while strapped into their booster seats (I left them happily eating their cereal), and the baby followed me into the bathroom, slamming the glass door of the shower on her leg as she dragged herself into the puddle in the cubicle (which is about two inches out of reach while sitting on toilet). I lasted about 5 more seconds and had to finish up and go rescue everyone....who ever thought (pre-kids) doing a #2 uninterrupted was actually a luxury???
