If there was anything that caught – and held – our attention this week it was the pictures and audio from the sinking of the luxury cruise liner, the Costa Concordia. When the pictures first emerged, it felt like the Titanic all over again.

I must be a bit sleepy this morning or something because there are a few of these that I just don't get? I don't quite get the photoshop fail? I also don't get the racist reference? I mustn't be looking close enough, but the Michael Kors ad just looks like a bunch of people on a tourist-y safari (the local guide at the front of the truck, and the well-heeled taking tourist snaps)? What's racist about that? Like I said I must be missing something.
I will also have to have another look at the Beyonce photo because surely that isn't her? ;-) She looks so different, and I would never have recognised her.

Hmmm. I'd say with the Beyoncé pic, besides make-up and Photoshop, the lighting set-up would account for a lot in terms of her paleness. I'm a golden-brown sort of tan colour, but going through my profile pics on Facebook, I look like a different skin tone in almost each one, with a vast difference between the darkest and lightest, simply because of the lighting.
