The $12.95 mascara Jennifer Hawkins swears by.

Sure, Jennifer Hawkins may have the entire Myer beauty department within her grasp but it turns out that she also has a taste for budget beauty brands.

In a recent interview with Beauticate, the 32 year old model, entrepreneur and  TV presenter said she adorns her eyelashes in cult favourite Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.

Yes, the stuff that can be purchased for a song – or $12.95, in dollar terms.

To set her makeup and create a dewy effect, Hawkins revealed she sprays her face with Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray, $9.99. Hawkins isn’t the first celebrity to espouse the wonders of the French budget brand, as actress January Jones is also a fan of Avene.

As for her signature beachy waves, Hawkins is partial to a spritz of L’Oreal Elnett hairspray, $6.69, which I must agree is the original and best hairspray in gorgeous vintage-style packaging.

We have something in common with J-Hawks – we also love face mists! Post continues after video.

But what about the famous face that Miss Universe founder and political nuisance, Donald Trump, called “the most beautiful Miss Universe I’ve seen in many, many years” (soz to any previous Miss Universes who must have been SO unfortunate-looking!)? Well, turns out that Hawkins has hit up the chemist again to perfect her complexion.

The Nude by Nature mineral makeup range is a favourite with Hawkins, and the fact that it’s available at most chemists means that you can zip out in your lunchbreak and stock up on this Hawkins-hoarded makeup, without damaging your bank balance too much. Yes please!

Seriously, people will not stop complimenting us when we wear these beauty products. Is this what life is like for a Miss Universe? (Post continues after gallery.)

Beauty products which get compliments.

A sign of a good woman is one who’s always happy to share beauty tips, and Hawkins never disappoints. Previously, she told Foxtel’s Lifestyle You that her secret to maintaining hydrated skin was drinking two litres of water a day, and sticking to only one coffee.

She moisturises twice daily and recommends "eating good fats like olive oil and avocado". Sadly, donuts were not on that list, but we appreciate the sentiment nonetheless.
