TV presenter, Sonia Kruger is mourning the loss of her father Adrian, who tragically passed away last Thursday.
The 49-year-old has taken a step back from her duties at Channel Nine as a result of the sad news as she supports her family during this time.
A Channel Nine publicist confirmed with The Daily Mail that Kruger's father passed at the age of 80 after suffering a long illness, with his funeral to be held this Friday.
Kruger's sister-in-law Angie shared a touching tribute to Adrian on Thursday, writing, "Today, we lost a great soul. A gentleman, hard worker, and loving family man. Known to my boys as Poppy Quadbike."
"I'm so proud that they had the opportunity to meet you and I'm also so proud that they carry on your family name. You will be sadly missed. We will cherish the memories you have filled our hearts with forever. Rest in peace now, Adrian," she post concluded.
