“If I had’ve stayed there, I would’ve killed her.”
It’s a scene that could be from a movie.
Except the fight that was filmed between actors Shia Labeouf and his girfriend Mia Goth was completely unscripted.
Labeouf, 29, was visiting girlfriend Goth, 22, in Germany when the confrontation occurred.
There is no doubt that this video, filmed filmed by “helpful” bystanders, is a gross invasion of privacy, but it also reveals exactly what it looks like when a man blames his partner for his own abusive actions.

In it, Labeouf can be heard saying to the men filming the incident, “I don’t want to touch a woman, I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m being pushed.”
When talking to Goth, Labeouf throws in a line that will be familiar to any woman who has been in an abusive relationship.
“I don’t want to touch you, I don’t want to be aggressive. This is the kind of shit that makes a person abusive.”
After he leaves, the movie star is taken to the airport by the men filming, and Labeouf can then be heard telling them, “If I had’ve stayed there, I would’ve killed her.”
Labeouf’s increasingly erratic behaviour has drawn attention and criticism recently.
He has been known to storm out of interviews, disrupt Broadway plays and was accused of plagiarising a freestyle rap.
We can only hope that Goth is able to seek support and assistance from those around her.

1. Ok, point out the obvious. He DIDN'T hit her.
2. He appears to be under the influence of something. Or perhaps struggling with mental health issues. Maybe we should be encouraging and supporting help for those issues. There's a link to a story below to where he alleges he was sexually assaulted...PTSD perhaps?
3. What couple hasn't had an argument? Who here would love it broadcasted to the entire world? It just makes a bad situation worse IMO. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors too, maybe SHE is violent...it's possible.

Watching the footage, he seems to be under the influence of something, be it alcohol or other drugs. I hope she gets out and he gets help.
