She stripped at Oaks Day & has 'absolutely no regrets'.

“No regrets. Absolutely none. It was just fun.”

Sue Bentley made the very best of a rainy situation when she was filmed frolicking happily in the mud soaked ground at the Crown Oaks Day yesterday. Wearing only her underwear.

This morning, the Today Show spoke to her about her decision and she continued to prove just how much of an Australian hero she really is.

Sue explained, “It was wet and it was boring.. you could run in and out of the rain or you could run around and embrace it.”

She mentioned she was also given a fairly impressive incentive of $10 to do it.

Here’s Sue with her self-described “Bridget Jones panties on” in all her glory:

The Mental Health Worker and mother of five explained that her children weren’t as impressed with her run as the rest of Australia.

She said, “My son’s in Thailand, he says he’s staying there.”

Sue added, “The other three are wanting to change their name and my daughter doesn’t want to go to school today.”

When asked if she had any regrets about her almost-nudey run, Sue confidently replied, “No regrets. Absolutely none. It was just fun.”

Never change Sue, never change.

If this is what if takes to be a hero the bat had been severely lowered. I don't really have a problem with what she did but she's no hero.

Oh you prudes getting upset over this! This is what the week of the Melbourne cup is all about, it's like an amnesty from the boring good behaviour we all have to follow like good citizens the rest of the year! She didn't drown a puppy or kill anyone, no one was harmed! She just gave us all a chuckle and who knows as a mental health worker she might have given someone with depression a good laugh!
Good on ya Sue!
