A few weeks ago when I was shopping I saw this mum and dad shopping with their three young kids. The kids were not being naughty but they were keeping their parents busy and mum looked a bit frazzled. So when I got near the checkout I grabbed a box of chocolates, paid for my groceries and then handed the mum the chocolates and said " you are doing an amazing job, here's something just for you to enjoy". Her smile made me so happy.

I was going for a run the other week and I passed an elderly man who was blind, walking on a suburban back road. I had just seen an ad about offering to accompany blind people near roads so I turned around and walked with him to the bus stop. He seemed relieved to have someone help check no cars were coming when we crossed each road. I'm so glad I turned back, I think it made both our days.
