A security guard who found a lost three-year-old girl at a Sydney shopping centre allegedly exposed himself before taking her back to one of her parents.
The 27-year-old man will soon face court for allegedly committing an act of indecency towards the toddler.
The security guard was working in a Homebush shopping centre on Sunday when he responded to reports of a lost child within the premises.
Police say the man found the missing three-year-old girl, who became lost in the Christmas crowds.
He allegedly escorted her to a nearby corridor and exposed himself, before committing an indecent act.
The girl was then taken back to her parent, who later alerted police.
The 27-year-old Sydneysider has been charged with committing act of indecency with person under 16 years and detaining person with intent to obtain advantage.
He was refused police bail and is due to face Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday.
